Quick brief

In 2018 I had the opportunity to work on a branding project for a restaurant called Friends Bar & Grill. The client needed a variety of materials created, including menus, table tent menus, window displays, and social media posts.

To start the project, I researched the client’s brand and restaurant concept to get a feel for the style they were looking for. The client wanted the branding to have a casual, sophisticated and friendly vibe that would appeal to a wide range of customers.

Designed materials

For the menu design, I created a layout that was easy to read and visually appealing, with bold headings. I used black marble background to make grater contrast to the food photos which are colorful and makes them pop out even more. I also made sure to incorporate the client’s brand colors and typography throughout the design to maintain consistency.

For the menu I used stock template and build from that. Link from the template: Restaurant Menu

The table tent menu was similar in design to the main menu, but with a smaller size and a more condensed version of the content.

The window display design was meant to attract potential customers walking by the restaurant. I used large, bold minimal graphics to catch their attention and communicate the restaurant’s vibe and menu offerings.

Lastly, for the social media posts, I created a series of graphics that were consistent with the overall branding of the restaurant. I made sure to include mouth-watering photos of some of the most popular menu items, along with catchy taglines to encourage engagement and interaction with customers on social media.

Overall, I’m proud of the work I did for Friends Bar & Grill, and I believe the branding materials I created will help the restaurant attract new customers and keep them coming back for more.
